Also situated near the Cathedral is the Basilica del Crocifisso where the treasures of the Duomo are exhibited, and the Chiostro del Paradiso, the last resting place for the influencial people of Amalfi.

Traces of the Marine Republic’s past are still present in the streets of Amafli but the most important trace is the Antico Arsenale. This is now a museum and hosts exhibitions and cultural events. It’s beautiful cross vaults and architecture have remained unaltered from medieval times.
